l  Use querying tools

l  Write SELECT queries to retrieve data

l  Group and summarize data by using Transact-SQL

l  Join data from multiple tables

l  Write queries that retrieve and modify data by using subqueries

l  Modify data in tables

l  Query text fields with full-text search

l  Create and manage databases and their related components

l  Implement data integrity by using the IDENTITY column property, constraints, defaults, rules, and unique identifiers
