Nature and target：
This course introduces how to create network connections and provide network services. It begins by examining basic protocols and how to create LAN and WAN connections. The course then introduces routing before dealing with a number of network services. These services include NFS, DNS, NIS, DHCP, and basic security.
Content：
l Identify the features of networking in Linux.
l Identify the procedure for setting up an Ethernet TCP/IP connection on a Linux system.
l Identify the procedure for configuring a network interface in Linux.
l Identify the features of the Network File System (NFS).
l Identify the features of the Network Information Services (NIS).
l Identify the features of the Network Information Service +(NIS+).
